Direct Flights from Adelaide
Regional Express (Rex) operates regular flights (50 minutes) between Adelaide and Whyalla. The aerial approach offers spectacular views of Spencer Gulf and the Flinders Ranges.
Airport Transfers
Whyalla Airport is just 8km from the city centre. Car rentals, taxis, and accommodation transfers are available.
The annual cuttlefish migration takes place during the Winter months. The best time to see them is in June and July.

Glass Bottom Boat Tours

Tours run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9.30am (approximately 1.5 hours) except for public holidays. Tours depart from the Whyalla Visitor Information Centre.
Ship tours are at 10.30am, 11.30am and 1.30pm daily. The ship stands high and dry, 2km from the sea. Thousands of visitors every year enjoy the unique experience of walking under the ship before climbing aboard.
